Membership
Members of the Gateway Commission represent the eight lower river towns of Chester, Deep River, East Haddam, Essex, Haddam, Lyme, Old Lyme and Old Saybrook, the two RPOs within which the towns exist, and the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protecton and is comprised of a total of 21 members. Those members include a Regular and Alternate designee from each of the eight Gateway member towns, a Regular and Alternate designee from each from the Mid-State Regional Planning Agency and the Connecticut River Estuary Regional Planning Agency, and a representative of the Commissioner of Environmental Protection.
